Happy Birthday Hakan.
Wow, I can't believe that my baby is 4years old.
Hakan I want you to know that I love you so much and I'm so proud to be your mommy.
Happy Birthday to Lindsey too.

There's a lot of things that happened since my last post.
I saw Twilight and I really liked it. ( New Moon starts filming in march 2009)
We had our Elf Day, and I was in charge of teaching how to make Christmas cards. It never would have happened if Teresa didn't help me.
Darren finally graduated from The University of Montana.
I would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas.

Hunting season is over!!!

About 2 weeks ago or so, Darren was able to shoot his elk.He was really lucky, anyways, we were so busy getting our meat all cut up, that it let me no time to post on my blog. Now the hunting season is behind us Darren can focus on finishing school and guess what? He'll be able to graduate this semester.

Now I have to go do my dishes... so boring.

Harry Potter in Frenchtown?

We had a really nice time at the Halloween party on Friday. Hakan was Harry Potter and Eli was frankenstein.

Lots of people told us that Hakan really looked like Harry, and Hakan wanted everyone to call him Harry. He would get mad when we called him Hakan.

On saturday we carved our pumpkins, to tell the truth Darren did, I carved Eli's and part of mine.

Eli wasn't to sure about putting his hands inside his pumpkin but, Hakan was really happy to get out all the pumpkin seeds, today we roasted them and Hakan ate them for the first time, he loved them.

Dinner is served

Today we made gnochi for dinner, this is a dish that my mom taught me a long time ago. This dish is very typical of Argentina, it takes a long time to make but if you have the right helper it goes a lot faster.

When I was dating Darren I cooked this for him and since that day it has been his favorite. He tells me that my cooking sealed the deal when he asked me to marry him.

Anyways, this dish is made with potatoes(boiled and mashed), egg, parmesan chesee, flour, salt and pepper, then just use your favorite sauce( we love marinara and chicken).

I wanted to share a little bit of my country with everybody.

I'M ON THE DARK SIDE NOW

No more 20's for me. Yesterday, October 2, was my 30th birthday. I had a wonderful day with my kids and husband. For once I gave myself a day off, no dishes, no cleaning. I spent my time scrapbooking. Hakan was really excited that it was my birthday. He wrapped some of his books and toys and gave them to me and he even wrote MOM and HAKAN. I was so proud of him, my little boy is starting to write.
Eli loved the cake. I had a wonderful Birthday.

Home alone again

Today Darren is hunting again and it will be the same for me until he gets his elk.

I hope he gets his elk soon cause it gets kinda boring sometimes. Anyways, if he gets his elk, we'll have meat for the year.

Mitt Romney

I was lucky this summer to work for The Shining Mountain Ranch. Every year they have people come to Montana and bike around beautiful Sula. This year Mitt and Anne Romney were there and I got to meet them and talk to them. It was a very special moment for me. And as you can see in my blog I got a picture with him.
